Dr. Grordbort's MoonKirby

And another one bites the dust. Moon dust, to be exact.

Here we have Kirby in Dr. Grordbort's Moonman Pack for the Pyro. It's been a long time since I last drew Pyro Kirby. Was really fun making this set.

These are some of the most narly items for the Pyro that have ever been released. I absolutely adore the Phlogistinator, it's what the Backburner should have been. It makes you more vulnerable to Soldiers and Demomen, but the "Mmmph" ability can really change the tide of battle in your favor. You just have to be more wary of what's around you or else you'll have a couple of rockets and stickies shoved up your ass. I also kind of like the Phlogistinator because the fire that comes out of it is different from regular fire. That, and because the set is space themed, I call it "Space Fire". SPACE FIRE! The Manmelter's ability to have infinite ammo and compression blasts is really cool, but I don't know if "the no random critical hits against burning and non-burning players" balances it out. The stored crits for ever teammate extinguished is interesting though. The Third Degree has a really epic look, but I'm sad that it's an upgrade to the regular fire axe. VALVE needs to find a way to turn the "direct upgrade" items (like this and the Solemn Vow) into unique weapons by adding a downside to them. Maybe less damage. I think that would be good. I only own the Phlogistinator, though, so I haven't experienced the other two items yet. The hat and misc for this set are also really cool. The Bubble pipe looks really epic and the Moonman Backpack is also pretty trig.

So yeah, this is the last Kirby set from the new Smissmas Update. Can't wait to do the next ones. SPACE FIRE!

Oh yeah, fun fact: Did you know the original Backburner had a +50 health boost? If you think Backburner Pyro's are bad enough as they are now, try facing them when they had 225 total health The thought is just nightmare-inducing, man!
